Dear all,
It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at the Greek School of Coventry!
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer and you are all relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year!
Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your children, working hard to make school a positive experience for ALL students.
We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning!
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new families who will be joining us this year.
New Staff
Each year brings positive change. This includes a few additions to our staff. We are delighted to welcome our Reception Teacher, Vasiliki Koliou and our GCSE/As Teacher, Anastasia Goudopoulou.
It is always difficult to say farewell. I would like to express our appreciation and thank in a special way our Reception teacher, Ms Vera Girmba and our Year 5-6 teacher, Ms Stavroula Pentara or their great and hard work this year, for being so supportive and working hard with us to meet the needs of their students and provide the very best for them. We are really grateful for their true love for their students’ progress and safety as well as for the quality education they offered to them!
We wish them all the best in their new jobs.
We are pleased and excited to welcome back all of our wonderful and dedicated teachers, our Year 1 teacher Ms Konstantina Krokidi, Year 2 teacher Ms Maria Charalampous, Year 3 teacher Ms Konstantina Tilkeridou, Year 4-5 teacher Ms Syllia Paraschou, Year 6-PRE GCSE teacher Ms Polina Mesinioti, A2 Teacher Ms Eleni Tsilipira and our Religious Education teacher, Ms Eleni Maoudi.
We will be back on the 8th of September, 2018 at 10:30!

Our teachers will be there to greet students and parents.
10:30-11:00: Registration
11:00-11:15: Welcome from the head teacher
11:15-12:00: All students will be walked to their classrooms and meet their teachers. Books and notebooks will also be provided to them.
12:00-12:30:Lunch time (Please, students should bring a lunchbox with them)
12:30-13:00: Blessing (after the Liturgy commemorates the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary)
13:00-15:00:Activities on the playground under the supervision of teaching staff.
Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.
We look forward to seeing you on the first day of school.
